Michael, Gabriel and Raphael is called "saint" because they are holy. However, they differ from the other saints because they are not human. They are angels, they protect humans. We can know a little about each of them from the Scriptures.

The name Michael means "Who can equal God?" Three books in the Bible tells the story of St. Mikhael, namely: Daniel, Revelation and Jude. In the Book of Revelation chapter 12:7-9, we read of a major battle that occurred in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against Satan. Michael's a winner because of loyalty to God. We can ask for help St. Michael to make us steadfast in the love of Jesus and in practice our Catholic faith.

The name Gabriel means "God is my victory." He also mentioned in the book of Daniel. Gabriel we know well because he is one of the key figures in the Gospel of Luke. Archangel is expressed to Mary that she would be the Mother of our Savior. Gabriel told Zechariah that he and Elizabeth will be endowed with a son who will be named John. Gabriel is the bearer of news, the messenger of God to convey the Annunciation. We can ask for help St. Gabriel to make us carrier news, a messenger of God like him.

The name Raphael means "God heals". We read the touching story of Rafael job in the book of Tobit in the Scriptures. He provides eye protection and healing for the blind Tobit. At the end of the journey, when things are over, Rafael express her true identity. He called himself as one of the seven angels who minister before the throne of God. We can ask the help of St. Raphael to protect us in the journey, even in the course of a very close once, such as going to school. We can also ask his help when we or someone we loved whatever disease.

To honor the three Archangels, let us say the prayer of thanksgiving and praise to God.
